LJ Construction Collects No. 1 SME Apprenticeship Employer Award

A proud moment for the LJ Construction team

Last week, we attended the Top Apprenticeship Employers 2026 Celebration Event at One Great George Street, Westminster, after being ranked No. 1 in the Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers in England.

It was great to mark the achievement in person and celebrate alongside some of the country's leading apprenticeship employers.

This has been a real team effort. A huge thank you to Kieron Sear for all his work leading our apprenticeship programme, and to our mentors, supervisors and everyone across LJ Construction for giving their time and experience to help develop the next generation of carpenters.

Most importantly, thank you to our apprentices. Their hard work, commitment and development are what the programme is all about.

We're proud to play our part in creating opportunities for young people to build lasting careers in construction, while helping to develop the skilled workforce our industry needs for the future.

Thank you to Apprenticeships and Skills and Higherin for the recognition and for bringing everyone together to celebrate the contribution apprenticeships are making across England.
